Amber is back home
A bit earlier than planned, Amber is back home. We weaned her by sending Pearl off to a large pasture until summer, and at the beginning of June we switched her and Amber.
First time we switched the two, Amber went directly to the milk bar, so we were excited to see Pearl would let her here 2 months later. And we didn't have to worry. Pearl told her off several times, and we happy to say that Amber is now succesfully weaned, and is back with Pearl, Ruby and Tino.
Tino didn't make the welcome easy for Amber. He was very interested in her, and kept running after her, and naturally Ruby found that Amber was the one to blame, and with no mommy dearest it was a rough return. But she's settled in and the 4 of them are calm and quiet.
