New foal at the barn

This morning Ruby had a wonderful sorrel colt.

The morning started out somewhat chaotic, as the foal had found his way outside the fence, and when Michael tried to get him back inside to his mother, Ruby ran out of the pasture. This turned into a bit of a hunt up the road, which leads to the main raod. Luckily, Ruby and her new son turned down the path that leads to our midden, and we managed to catch them there.

Both were put in a stall, where they could get some peace and quiet. No harm done, and both are doing good.
