Amber's first park out lesson

Today Amber had her very first park out lesson, and the picture speaks for itself. Many teaches their foals how to park out, but to to their soft bones, we wait till they're yearlings.

Up until now we've had a couple of square-lessons, but last time we did was in the ealy spring. Now it's time to teach her to park out, and we believe she will learn fast. She's very intelligent, and eager to learn. The main problem is her concentration and focus, but she's young and she'll learn.

Today we helped her legs out while giving a verbal command, and after that she looked like "Was that it?". Three lessons in all, and then we praised her and ended for today. Not a perfect park out, but she'll get there...
